FAKSONLINE® is a multilevel customizable and ready to implement web-based assessment tool customized for schools ( K - 12 ). Currently FAKSONLINE® includes a question database with over 9000 high quality questions in English and 9000 high quality questions in Spanish, and we are adding new questions daily. The projected quantity of questions for 2005-2006 will be over 22,000.


System Overview
This system includes assessment creation, scheduling, and real time reporting systems based on individual students, groups, campuses and districts. All questions, reports, and assessments are based on TAKS definitions and are oriented to the expectation levels instead of objectives. Content areas included are Mathematics (2-11), Science (2-8, HS), Social Studies (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11), Reading (2-9), (ELA) (10-11) and Writing (4, 6-8).


Region 8 Statement
It is the Vision of Region VIII Education Service Center to create a partnership between school districts, teachers, school board members, universities and community colleges, community members, and business leaders to provide quality services for school improvement that will prepare students to cope with the challenges of the future.
